Another chance at the PCH: January 21-24 2005
Day 1: Flew into San Jose, drove up to Oakland to pick up the rented Road Glide. Spent that evening with my son in Monterey.
Day 2: Arose early and the three of us headed out for the PCH. Me on the Fat Boy, my son Jeremy on his Ducati, and friend Mike on the Road Glide. We rod PCH down to San Luis Obispo, where we spent a delightful evening.
Day 3: Got up early and headed up 101 to pick up 25, a terrific canyon road that runs up to Hollister. We had lunch in Hollister and headed to Watsonville to visit the BMW dealer there. We had dinner that night in Monterey to celebrate my son's recent engagement.
Day 4: returned the rental bike and flew back to Houston. |
