East bank levee, Mississippi River
On the Plaquemine ferry crossing the Mississippi to the west bank.
Treated to the start of great sunset
Three day trip over Thanksgiving:
Day 1:
Houston to Houma via the Creole Scenic Byway
Day 2: 
River Roads on west and east side of Mississippi, stopping for second night in Lafayette..
Day 3: 
Return to Houston via Route 95 north to 190, then west to Beaumont to I-10.
