Day 1: Departed Houston and rode to Ft. Davis, a total of 750 miles including backtracking from Balmorhea to Ft. Stockton to avoid road construction.
Day 2: Visited Ft. Davis National Park in the morning, then rode 166 to 505 to 90 to Van Horn, then picked up 54 to Guadalupe Mtns National Park. Stopped there for photos and the view, and continued to Carlsbad Caverns National Park.
rode 285 from Carlsbad to Ft. Stockton for the night.
Day 3: Ft. Stockton to Johnson City to visit LBJ Ranch National Park. Returned to Houston. |
