| Trip to Laconia 2005 Day 1: departed Houston 4:00 PM, arrived Lafayette LA for the night. Day 2: departed Lafayette, LA 7:30 AM, arrived Chattanooga TN for the night. Day 3: departed Chattanooga LA 8:00 AM, arrived Chambersburg PA for the night. Day 4: departed Chambersburg PA, arrived Lincoln NH (our destination). Day 5: attended vintage and side-car races all day in Loudon NH Day 6: rode the northern NH roads, through Franconia and Crawford Notches and Kancamagus pass. Day 7: attended the hill climb races Day 8: rode to Rutland VT to visit friends, returned the "scenic" way. Day 9: spent the day at "The Weirs" and rally headquarters Day 10: spent the morning at Flume Gorge, rode a bit, ate a late lunch. Day 11: Left Lincoln NH, arrived Salisbury MD Day 12: visited Barb's mom in Salisbury Day 13: departed Salisbury, visited Assateague Island, continued to Kitty Hawk. Visited Wright Brothers museum. Day 14: Rode the Outer Banks, visited Hatteras lighthouse, rode to Morganton NC. Day 15: Rode through Smokey Mtns National Park and spent the night in Murfreesboro. Day 16: Rode to Memphis, visited Art of the Motorcycle exhibit. Day 17: Left Memphis and arrived in Houston. |
